Pricing & Subscriptions
£15 per month per Discord server — one flat price that covers every feature: all bot commands, detection systems, tracking, log streaming, the in-game shop, credit system, playtime rewards, and full web dashboard access. No tiers, no add-ons, no feature gating. See the pricing page for the full feature list.
Per Discord server. Each server you manage needs its own subscription. If you run multiple Discord servers, each requires a separate plan.
Yes. Cancel from your billing page at any time — no contracts or lock-in. Features stay active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then access is removed.
Your configuration, shop packs, player data, and credit balances are retained for 30 days. Resubscribing within that window restores everything. After 30 days data may be deleted. Contact us via Discord if you want it removed sooner.
New subscribers can request a refund within 48 hours of their first payment if the service hasn't been actively used. Renewals are non-refundable. See the Refund Policy for full details.
General
No. ControlArk is built specifically around the Nitrado API for all server operations — log access, item delivery, server control, and player data. Non-Nitrado hosts are not supported.
ControlArk is built for ARK: Survival Evolved on Xbox / Microsoft Store, hosted on Nitrado. ARK: Survival Ascended is not currently supported.
Yes. Once you connect your Nitrado account, all ARK game services on that account are automatically detected. You can connect up to 3 Nitrado accounts per Discord server if your cluster spans multiple accounts. Features like detections, tracking, and the player list work across all connected servers simultaneously.
Run /configurate in Discord and select Connections. Create a Long-Life Token in the Nitrado Developer Portal with the service and user_info scopes enabled, then paste it when prompted. ControlArk will verify the token and detect your servers automatically. See the setup guide for step-by-step instructions.
Make sure your token has both the service and user_info scopes. Also confirm the Nitrado account that owns the token is the same account that holds your ARK game services — if your servers are on a different Nitrado account you'll need to connect that account's token instead. If the issue persists, ask in the Discord support channel.
Yes. Use /configurate → Data Management to selectively or fully delete all stored data for your server before removing the bot. Kicking the bot from Discord stops all bot activity immediately. See the Privacy Policy for details on what we store.
Shop & Delivery
When a player places an order, a delivery room on your designated PVE server is automatically assigned with a unique PIN code. The player receives a Discord DM with the room number and PIN. Items are then automatically placed into the vault in that room on the delivery schedule configured by the server admin. No admin action is required at any step.
Room assignment happens within minutes of purchase — you'll receive a Discord DM with your room and PIN once assigned. Items are physically delivered on the schedule set by your server admin (default: every 3 hours). Check with your server admin if you're unsure of their timing.
Delivery can fail if the server is offline or Nitrado is experiencing an outage. The order is automatically retried in the next delivery cycle. Credits are never lost due to a failed delivery — contact your server admin if the issue persists and they can trigger a retry or issue a credit refund from the dashboard.
Yes. The public store has a cart — add as many packs as you want and check out in one transaction. All items from your order are delivered to a single room.
Anyone can browse a public store without logging in. To place an order, players sign in with Discord — this is how the bot knows who to DM, which credit balance to deduct from, and which delivery room to assign.
Shop packs can contain any combination of: items (with quantity, quality, and blueprint option), tamed creatures (with gender, level, and custom stats), and armour costumes/skins. Packs are built using the pack builder on the web dashboard. Players can also be offered a choice between multiple variants within a single pack.
Credits
Credits are a virtual in-server currency with no real-world monetary value. Server admins give credits to players as rewards — for playtime, events, or anything else they choose. Players spend credits in the server's shop to receive in-game items and creatures.
Admins use /credits give @user <amount> and /credits take @user <amount>. To check a specific player's balance, use /credits check @user. Players check their own balance with /credits balance and view their full transaction history with /credits history. Credits are also awarded automatically via the playtime reward system.
No. Credits are per-Discord-server. Your balance on one server has no relation to your balance on another. This keeps each server's economy fully independent.
Contact the admin of the server you play on. They have full visibility over your credit transaction history from the dashboard and can correct any issue. Every give, take, and purchase is permanently logged.
Dashboard & Configuration
Any Discord user with Manage Server or Administrator permission in your server can log in to the dashboard. Permissions are verified on each login, so removing someone's Discord permissions immediately revokes their dashboard access.
The Discord bot handles slash commands, automated alerts, detections, log streaming, and item delivery — everything that runs automatically or is triggered in Discord. The web dashboard at controlark.net provides richer views for managing shop packs, browsing orders, searching player logs, viewing session history, and managing credits and permissions.
Run /configurate in Discord. This opens the main configuration menu where you can enable, disable, and configure every feature — detections, log streaming, player tracking, the ingame shop, permissions, and more — entirely from Discord without visiting the web dashboard.
Yes. Use /configurate → Permissions to grant specific Discord users access to individual feature groups — bans, player lookup, server management, shop, credits, and more — without giving them full Discord Administrator permission. Each permission group can be independently assigned.
Detections
There are 6 detection systems, each independently enabled with its own alert channel:
- Alt Account Detection — flags players that appear to be using alternate accounts
- Admin Command Monitoring — alerts when admin commands are used in-game (whitelist your own admins)
- Explorer Note Detection — detects suspicious XP gains from explorer notes
- Illegal Name Filter — alerts when a player joins with a name on your blacklist
- Name Spoof Detection — catches players using mismatched in-game names
- Chat Keyword Filter — fires when a player types a word from your keyword list in in-game chat
Some detections are flagged as experimental — they work, but may produce occasional false positives depending on server configuration and player behaviour. Alerts should be used as a starting point for investigation rather than automatic punishment. We actively improve detection accuracy based on feedback from server admins.
